Well my new engine is ready to drop in. I went with a 406 (400 .030 over) and a decent cam, .488 int lift .510 ex lift. I am going to install a 2500 stall converter and a small shot of NOS. The only thing holding me up from installing the engine is my paint man. We hope to paint the engine well by Thursday next week. I decided to add more chrome to the engine as well, pulleys, water pump, and the rest of the look good goodies. It has been a few months since I drove the LUV and I can't wait till it's done. This should be the final step, the paint, interior and drive train is all new. Only thing left after the motor is in is sending my front and rear bumpers out for new chrome.

I can't really say I am dieing from anticipation. This is just a toy and one of many for me. I only use this to cruise around town and play with Honda's. Like I said it is just a toy and if I am not playing with the LUV I have a motorhome, boat, 4 jet ski's and a Harley. I must say it will be nice when it is done, it has been a frame off project. It took 7 months to get it running, then I drove it for 4 or so months and now it has been undergoing the final phase for 2 months.

I live in a uppity neighorhood, we have aftermarket turbo Honda's all around here. I plan on feeding them some V-8 LUV on the bottle
