They are very nice for the price. $82.45 shipped to my door. Fit and finish are way better than I was expecting...The weld bungs were just under $20.00 shipped...

Lookin' good. But it would of looked better on my truck!! :D The place where you got your valve covers from is only about an hour from me. A guy I know sells parts in Hudson. Will have to see if that is him.

Well, progress has been made. I got my other valve cover on, ( the one under the 6 solenoids, :D ). I also finished fabbing and installing my gauge panel for the voltmeter and the vacuum gauge, what a PITA, but it's done. Also, (hopefully) I have my alternator charging, and more importantly, shutting off when I try to...What I still need to do is wire in the lights for the gauges, and I need 1 12 AN fitting and I am waiting for 1 hose to come in. Then it's time to fire it up and check for leaks, and then a bath for it. If the weather cooperates, next weekend is time for the first pass of the year...

:smt097 Smiley says it all. Finished up everything and tried to start it to check everything, and no start. Finally, when it's too late to do anything about it, I discovered the fuel I overpaid for is bad. The truck would turn over and occasionally fire randomly. Sounded like a timing issue. After chasing connections and triplechecking everything off and on for 2 days, I dribbled a little gas for the generator in the carb and it fired right up, until that fuel was expended. And to top it off, the forecast is too cold for my liking for Sunday...

that sux...do all that work chase everything down and find out it something simple, but isn't that the way it usually goes.aleast it wasn't something major as far as electronics....maybe this will help you until you can drive it.
