I'll post a pic of the grille when I post the finished engine bay. It's a square tube grille. I don't think it's for a luv, but it looks pretty good.

OK here's the pic of the grille. It's the best one that didn't have a lot of glare, sorry.

Here's pretty much the finished underhood outcome. I'm waiting on some colored heat shrink tubing from the electrical supply house to come in to finish off the wire looms. I don't konw if you can tell the difference in a pic, but in person it's a big difference.

Here's a before shot:

And here's the after shots, hope they come out OK:

These are 1/8 mile times. Old bullet 5.82 on 1 kit :D , New bullet 6.16 on motor only. Still sorting the new combo so I haven't sprayed it yet. I also added another kit since I wasn't breaking enough stuff.

Took the Luv to the car wash today and shined 'er up as it's been sitting due to the weather and the holidays. I then made the mistake of cranking 'er up, I'm ready for the tracks around here to open!

You going to run at Houston(Baytown)? I live close to Lonestar Motorsports Park in Sealy .. Boy has it changed from a little 1/8 miler.
I used to drive my old VW 85 Scirocco Autocross Car (DSP) on the back roads to race there when we would all get together and ran our VW's
with several clubs around Houston...

Grandmaster of the "Shade Tree" way.. I can't see the yard for all the cars. Come on down and we will sit on the porch and watch the grass grow.

Update: Trying to get ready for the upcoming season. Got the leaking front runner sealed (hopefully), detailed the front wheel wells, assembled and installed the new Moroso plug wires I scored on ebay new for $16, lubed the front suspension parts, fixed tranny line leak @ the only piece of rubber line on the truck  . Still to do, wire in the nitrous controller, install the electric shift solenoid and controller, new slicks, check the rear suspension for any problems, (heim joints mostly) and detail the rear suspension. All this detailing stuff is why I hate posting pics, it makes me notice crap like that.

Aluminum wheels are a pain. 1 down, 3 to go...

I agree aluminum wheels suck. You are getting a good start. Let us know as soon as you pull the hammer all the way back on that thing. I cant be the only one that cant wait to see the number it lays down.

I have got a slow start on my Luv this year. (my girlfriend wants the boat on the lake already) She just dont understand. Oh well.

I much rather be driving this.

Than this (especially when gas is 3 bucks a gallon)
