Hello everyone,
I have an opportunity to by a 327 (with what little information I could get from his wife) with 350 heads on it. I would like to install this into my chevy LUV.. right now it is installed in a totaled 69 Camero Z28. I would like to know everything there is to know about this stuff, cause the guy that rebuilt this engine is no longer with us.. so with your help, maybe I could get some answers...
Here are the casting numbers:
(1) Heads cast #8973487 and under that it says E181
(2) Engine Block #3789817
(3) intake manifold # 8263761 or could be 8283761
(4)STOCK HEADS #3884520
Could anyone tell me what the compression ration may have been on it also? Thank you very much. justcruisin66

hehe yeah i have that moretech thing on my comp and well i couldnt find your head but your block is a 62-67 2bolt. My dad thinkis that may be a small journal too (they rev alot better).
