came across this site a week or so ago after purchasing my first luv drag truck and wanted to shout hey to everyone here. got it rolling chassis with a glide in it. trailer also came in the deal. i have rebuilt my 350 sbc that was in my vega and ran a few passes untill the glide gave out. guy i got it from said i have to pull the motor to get trans out, well i fixed that problem tonight with a sawz all lol!!! goin to put a 12 bolt with spool and 4.88s this winter and maybe some other work. best so far is 12.33 and 7.80 in the 1/8 mile.

i may paint after next season. here is a better pic at the drags 1 week after i bought it.

im selling the vega i had for a drag car if anyone here knows someone interested. by the way its primer gray to lmao

i have the hood for it, fiberglass with a snorkel scoop. 12 bolt in it has been narrowed to 50 inches backing plate to plate. clutch posi setup, 4.88's. could use a set of spiders. cage needs a little work on drivers side down bar by the door. local welder told me $100 to fix it. holley blue pump, regulator, 1/2 aluminum fuel line with 5 gallon cell. rear mount batt. no motor or trans. front mount plate that goes under the balancer and bolts to frame on both sides. hooker 3 peice headers for the car. i had a mild hyd cam small block in it with th400 and 3000 stall that ran 12.10 and 7.60 in the 1/8. seat and gauges, no tach. b&m pro ratchet shifter also comes with it. front runners dont go with it. i have a set of hoosier 26x 10 slicks that have some life left i can throw in.

i will take $800 like it is.

and a pic of my dads 55 chevy. 355 small block th400 4.88 grs. all metal except 1 peice glass front end. runs 11.70's in good weather. best pass without nose on ran 11.67. this tank has a ford straight axle with drum brakes on all 4 corners. man its a beast to stop lol.
