hey guys, whats going on?
The other day my starter cought fire, it was perty cool realy....
So i pull into my buddy pauls place, hang out and generally bench race for a while. Then i go to start the LUV. First thing the starter hangs up, so its still running with the engine going. I figure this starter is finally done and get out the Ford wrench (4lbs sledge for those not in the know) and beat it. The starter keeps going, so i kill the engine, starter keeps going. So i go fine and pull the + battery terminal off. Then i decide to give he another go. I touch the terminal to the battery and instant flame action. I stand perplexed by what has transpired and decide i should probly put that out before it touches off my fuel line. It was a fairly eventfull morning realy, and i now have a new shiney starter and cool new + battery cable...
