ok so lately i've been seeing luvs everywhere. it's like the sun comes out and all the luvs come out of hiding. it's crazy. in the last two weeks i've seen about 6 new luvs that i've never seen before. all within 50 miles of my house. is anybody else experiancing the same thing or is it just me. i'm thinkin about carrying my camera around with me and keeping a log cus they're poppin up every where!!

same here... got two sitting by old businesses needing fixed up.. one a 4x4 stepside, one a base model 80. there's one 81 in a guy's yard broke down, one in a yard for sale (beat a$$ 76), two stepsides cruising around and three others either 4x4 or early model i've seen on the road in the last week or so.

I've spotted 3 or 4 in my area that are new to me. One 4x4 that was almost as tall as my 80 on 31s and looked just a little bit less beat than MEPR's :P and the other two were 2wds with nice paint. The nicely painted ones could just be ones I've seen before but they recently painted them I suppose, but it is kind of odd to suddenly see more of them around, even if it is the same ones I've see out and about before.

MEPR: Man, my 4x4 makes all other LUVs look good

I think Oregon has probably 80% of the luvs in the country!! I am lucky to see one here in Colorado every six months.

I see them allot here in So.Cal. I just ran into a guy that had a 3.8 V-6, 350 trans and a ford 8 inch in it. He threw a driveshaft and it ended up at my buddies driveline shop. It tore a hole in the gas tank and he asked where he could get one. I had one to sell, I tried to tell him I would just pay his bill and keep the truck, he would not go for it.
