well i went over to ezekiels house today and we pulled the donor motor from his beater truck. its just a plain jane 350 that had a granny geared 4 speed on it. it was kinda goofy gettin it out, but we got it, and its sittin on a pallet now. i also took some pics of the luv itself.
so heres the pics.

well we tore down the new motor at its a 3970010 block with 2 bolt mains. the cylinders look good. the was quite a bit of carbon in the cylinders though. the heads are 624s so were gonna look for some better ones that arent gonna crack. i think we have some othere heads scoped out for this motor.

i started on the motor mounts tonite too. i got the main pieces cut and tached, but there still some minor tweakin to do to get em right.

heres some pics of the current work.

ezekiel's kick ass shop. (the pic only shows like a 1/4 of the whole thing 8O )

im gonna finish up the mounts tommorow, and if anthony is alright with it we'll test fit the motor in the truck.

What is the wall thickness of the sq. tube you are using? It looks like 02thin to me, I would want .120 or so. what are you planning on attatching the square tube to and are you planning on solid mounting or rubber?

that really all that got done yesterday other than some this and that stuff on the luv. i did get a decent shot of the little guy out inthe sun though.
