This is a 1976 Chevy Luv Truck. It is the "Cal Custom" original, one of only 25. It has step - side bed, and the gas cap at the rear rather than the driver's side in the production model. Anyone interested in seeing pictures feel free to e-mail me.

Never heard of them before specifically , but a lot of shops did limited edition custom stuff like that back then. My Dad has a 78 Camaro "Cascade Edition", one of about 100 or so, that sort of falls into the same category, though it is basically a paint pattern more than anything else.

I have heard of a particular stepside bed design that might be related, usually called a star side. It is hard to describe but basically it is a stepside with several molded in lines radiating out from the fender into the rest of the bed. There is a picture of one somewhere in the gallery here I think.
