I had the same problem with my drum brakes for years and i thought it was the adjusters. It's most likely that the front brakes need to be bled. The front brakes adjust automaticly when the brakes are applied. There's 6 separate wheel cylinders total on the truck(4 up front). I bought a brake bleeder hose with a check valve and bled everything! The pedal came back up and it had a solid feel to it. But i always had a cylinder leak spring up somewhere. Bleed the brakes, you'll be suprized to see all of the air, dirt and water thats pumped out of the system. If the fluid lines are contaminated with trash, the adjusters wont work. It's a goofy adjuster mechanism and it wont hold an adjustment if there's a fluid issue. I went thru this already with all new parts and it all comes down to clean brake fluid and no air in the system. Do this! It will only cost you a quart of fluid and i'll bet it fixes the problem.
