Looks like a really clean installation. a billet BG always looks good a top a motor. I like the color it is really unique better then just orange like most peeps ( No offense to anyone, who has one, I've have/made a many that where orange. )

I hid the tach behind the inspection sticker and regestration sticker and have some mid to late 80's LED gauge cluster right under the a/c controls . The shifter is a mustang/capri console model that works like with a quarter stick gate and will be covered by a black leather shift boot . I even manage to get the reverse lights working. I'll try to get pics of that today .

O.K. drag radials are on , traction bars are on , Rear axle leak is fixed . I got to be up @4:30 be at work @ 5 work a 12 . go home get the truck and tech in by 6 p.m. , but i'm ready it has been January since I made a pass and i'm ready . I have already run a G-tech pass , but i'm gonna make you guys wait and post my best time slip . The high tommorow is slatted to be 66* and the track is like 7 foot above sea level . I've jetted it tell the plugs are about the color of a chrispy Mc donalds french fry and will probably add fuel as the air cools . Wish me luck and time slips to follow .

Hey all , track night went well , it was cool in the mid to high 50's . Track was good til sun down , then they prepped it and it got better . i was doing alot of timing and carb adjustments and learned alot . The little 235/60 drag radials & slapper bars did great . I eventually dropped the pressure to 15 # s , but my best pass was at 18.5 . I did have a few little problems , but nothing to keep me from running it . There is a shift delay between 1 & 2 , The trac-loc was acting strange spinning one or the other some times , i don't think I have enough alternator & I need some type of cold air induction set up . They made me pull out in the parking lot and make 5 or 6 hits because it was dumping red clay dirt out of the frame rails . My best pass was as follows :
R/T = .045
60' = 1.762 8)
330= 5.08
1/8= 7.85
mph= 88.55
1000=10.30
1/4 = 12.39 :)
106.91 mph

Here is the video

Good job. There's probably more left in it. All that effort paid off.

It wouldn't be inspected without your ebrake help Ron . A big thanks to all . I bought this truck and everyone here coached / taught me how to build it . The general blue print came from this site as a team . I inprevised on some fine details , but anytime I was stuck or down ya'll where there . I guess my goal for the truck is like 11.51 , but it'll get there with some tuning . I'll continue this thread as i go . I would have to have someone make me a redeculus offer to ever get rid of it . My wife at first hated the truck , but has seen the attention it brings everywhere we go , and now thinks it's pretty cool . My teenage daughter is kinda into it to . I guess it is now part of the family . i've been called out at work by a guy with a 1969 mustang , so we'll see what we came do about that ( video to come ) . i'll keep you posted .

I bought the rad from summit it was like 159 delivered it is a griffin 19 x 21 universal . If i had it to do over I would relieve more core support and put in as much radiator as possible . mine stays around 190-205 . I'm going to flush it and use distilled and water wetter to get it down . My motor is always hot and the air coming off of the radiator will hurt your skin . I will probably take the rubber fenderwell flaps back out and add some form of cold air ducting to carb to try and cool it down . My only other option would be a cowl hood :( , which I do'nt want to do . I'm trying to stay incognito .
