Greetings fellas. Let me start by dispelling any rumors about running with the money. I am waiting for the dashes just as much, if not more, as you guys are. If I dont have a dash in my possesion by mid-December, I will mail a cashiers check to to the two guys who prepaid. I am a man of my words. I have to work hard for my money just like everyone else. I have recently returned to work after a being out for almost for 5 months due to a head on auto accident. I still undergo treatment and teast every 3-4 months for the tumor in my spinal cord. I have not ever and will not ever screw anybody out of their hard money. I was raised to honor my word better than a written contract. I am just as dismayed as the rest of you about the delay. Jim Kirk, yes that is his real name, told me he brought in a professional mold builder to take over the process of building the mold for a no-nonsense fit-the-first-time new Luv dash. He is just wanting to make sure when he ships the dashes to me they will fit right the first time with no ifs, ands, or buts about them. If anybody wants to contact me, please feel free to contact me at brassman@bellsouth.net . If you would like to talk in person, e-mail me and I will send you my personal home phone number. I stand behind my word 110%! I wish I never would have gotten in the auto accident! But, sh*t happens, and life goes on. I will not now or ever f*ck anyone!
Best regards,

Joe Lorino

Wow... hey I'm truly sorry to hear that. As an EMT I've seen my share of head on collisions and I know it can be a long road to recovery. I hope your recovery is going well, and I really wish you all the best.

I think I speak on behalf of most people when I say that accusing you of "running off" with the money was really nothing personal towards you. Its just that its so easy to get ripped off online that people tend to assume the worst when they don't hear from the person they gave their money to. I did, however, believe you would come through eventually because you promptly responded to an e mail I sent you, which I posted here on this website.

For what its worth I am still interested in doing business with you for a dashboard, even though I will wait until the other guys have recieved theirs. I'll keep my ears open and when the mold is set and the dashboards start rolling out to customers, I'll be in line to buy one. Thank you.[/url]

Gentlemen,
The delay in these units is entirely our fault and has nothing what ever to do with Joe Lorino in Florida

Our first molds were not to the quality we required and it put us back months until new mold tooling could be produced. Anyone with knowledge of tooling will tell you that molds take substantial design and construction of tooling is not an easy task. They will also confirm that tooling of this nature costs $thousands.

The new tooling has produced it's first off-tool unit which we are working on as we speak. For final fit-test we need a glove-box "box" and the "surround" that surrounds the dash instruments and we are searching for LHD units now.

Once we confirm that fit-up we will be test-fitting in a vehicle and then into production. Hopefully this will all happen around Christmas.

We will keep you posted and advise the minute they are available for release. We will be displaying them at our booth at the February HOTROD & RESTORATION SHOW in the Indiana Convention Center, Indianapolis.

Regards, Jim :D

Well, the time has come, and passed, for the two guys who prepaid for their dashes to get a refund. I am waiting for confirmations so I can send them their money back. Don't worry guys, the dashes will still be available once they arrive. When I have the dashes in my possesion, I will start to take orders again. Please accept my sincerest apologies for any hardships this might have caused. Like I said, I am a man of my word. If anybody has any questions, please feel free to contact me through my e-mail address: dashboardsforluv@bellsouth.net. I am trying to get back into the swing of things. I should be on the site more often from this point. Thank you very much. Joe Lorino

First supply will be to the guy's who have ordered through Joe Lorino.

Will keep everyone posted early next week. Jim
