Very nice job Karl. I remember the excitement when I got my truck on the road. Enjoy the moment after the ride. Heck you will probably just sit there and stare at the truck for an hour, feeling very happy. 8) 8)

It is alive. Tuning is done. Tomorrow I need to clean up a few wires and install the hood. I had to be careful on the test drive, this truck is non oped right now, a ticket for no reg. would be costly. I guess I need ho hit DMV tomorrow as well.

What an accomplishment!!! I hope it runs as good as it looks, and you be careful, too.

Now, now Catman, don't tease him, he just had a major operation, and he better go slow! (I bet he won't)

Looking good!! Where's your first buildup thread? What size radiator is that you got stuffed in there?

I really don't have a build up thread. If you go to owner pics you can see pics of the truck in various stages of the build. I built this by myself so any questions feel free to ask. The radiator is a Griffin, 18"X3"X24". I have the old radiator here if you need one, I went with a aluminium to tie in the look under the hood. This truck was done and running until 6 months ago when I pulled the motor to paint the engine bay, then it turned into a motor build, trans build and too much other work.

It's done. I drove it about a hundred miles today (no really 100 miles), no leaks, no overheating and no problems. I took off from Camarillo and stoped in Ventura to chat with some friends, then drove it to Carpentaria to Santa Barbra Harley drooped off some money for more chrome goodies for the Harley, drove it back to Oxnard to chat with some friends then back home. Anyone want to come over to polish all of that stuff in the engine bay? I should have thought about that before I added it. Between the Harley and this all I do is polish chrome and aluminum.
