What years is this, and you are still driving a truck that you Luv? My 78 is still unfinished. The fack that I think about it all the time doesn't seem to do much good. I haven't lost interest, it just keeps getting pushed back. Hurricane Ike in 2008 was the last minor stumbling block. 1/2 block from Galveston bay didn't help any and there are still people in worse shape than me. It will get there.

I have used a flat washer with a hole about the size of the old one, to make sure it is not that. You can gut the thermostat and use it to make sure that is not the problem,
