i thin that you can get around smog laws by purchasing a classic car lisence for the rig. Its more expensive and limits your milage but i think it would be worth it if stuff like this starts passing. This is how it works in wa state dont know about other places.

you guys should contact every classic and hot rod club in your area to complain on it. not to mention after market companies too. they stand to lose alot of money if a bill like that passes. one reason i don`t want to see it pass az typically follows ca on emissions law albeit sometimes not for a few years afterward. later

Get on the phone guys Dean Flores 916 445 4641 State capitol building room 4090 Sacramento Ca 95814 and complain
I did and it's not a done deal ,yet ,but the assistant that I talked to didn't care much , all of us need to PUT IT IN WRITING as I was told also call your local representative mine Mr Alacorn has an office where they listen and have helped me in the past remember this is OUR country they work for US and while I'm all in favour of clean air why should we get screwed when gov vehicles are the ones I see putting out the most polution but of course they are exempted I believe . We must take back control of our state from the career politicians who have lost touch with the people and use us as money pits
