what should i do. sometymes my truck will run fine the others it just mis fires no stop. its getting to be a real pain in the @$$. n e help would be greatly appreciated

Well there is a few things you can check you can start first with your Dist. and check your points and make sure they are good mine usually backfires once my point start wearing out! Also you might need a new coil mine was having a problem with backfiring and just dying on me but after a few minutes it would cool off and then crank right up! So I changed out my coil and have had no problems since then. But I would start with your points first. Just my two pennies. hope this helps!

Hey LUVMan , Ihad the same problem with my 794x4LUV about 4 years ago. Turns out that it was the tail shaft on my distributer. It was totally worn out! After all my truck has 480000 miles on it at that time.As soon as i replaced it i was off and running with a good acting truck!
