Grandmaster of the "Shade Tree" way.. I can't see the yard for all the cars. Come on down and we will sit on the porch and watch the grass grow.

well i get the luv today...the 77 mikado no stepside....but i am pleased or i was until the god damn thing wouldn't turn over, it lights up and shit like it is going to and then doesnt....i know it has a bad fuel pump so i fed it some fuel and still nothing..

well i will give you a description of what i am working with..until i read the article on how to post pics..

it is a 77 mikado, factory A/C, clean glass all away around and a straight body, no dents or holes just surface rust. tires appear to have fairly good tread left, didnt really pay attention and the interior is just dirty as hell...but i think a good cleaning will uncover alot.

but 1st order of business is to get it to start...and then take it to have the head machined..then get ahold of a new head gasket.

 :D Bob and his A/C  :D

I'm right there with ya man.

Surprisingly my son doesn't complain about not having air. I guess he's is thankful I gave him something to drive and keeps his mouth shut. He is a smart boy like that.

Hey papa G . Is Republic of Tx. a city? If not where are you? I saw that you wrote when I was trucking that way, to wave as I went by. So I was just curious where it is.

Inside joke... We are not part of the USA, I live in the Republic of Texas. That was what Texas was before it joined the USA. 8)

There is actually a radical seprest group that claims that it was ilegal how we joined the union and still says we are our own country ie The Republic of Texas... Not me of course.

I live in New Ulm, TX A small comunity in rual SE Texas. In the middle of Columbus, Sealy, La Grange, Bellville, and Brenham. About 15 miles from I 10 at Columbus. Couple hundred folks, dogs, cats, 1 General Store, 1 Gas Station-Beer Joint, 1 mechanic shop-gas station, 1 restruant, and the Post Office. Not a lot here...

I figured you would be on I-10 thats why I said wave as you go by... 15 miles away.

Richard

Thats what happens when you don't take your meds when you should.

Ha Ha Ha. That's cool. Yea I know, the south is proud. Thats a good thing though.
Yes I was on I10.
I have heard of New Ulm, at least have seen it on the map.
And not a lot here is way better than living 15 miles east of L.A. where everyone is here!!
