stupid Washington weather. It's nice since January and then the past two weeks have been dumping rain.

at any rate, the new engine is getting painted tomorrow (weather permitting, and it had better) and hopefully getting the old one out tomorrow as well. Hopefully get the new one settled in on Sunday at least. It sucks this is a weekends-only project.

bought my motor mounts and a crossmember. oh and mufflers. I hope they're loud, I personally think you should be able to call Summit and hear the muffler before you buy it. :p

that's all

oh my boyfriend bought a 1964 Nova. It's so cute. It was on the front page of last week's Buy and Sell, did ya see it? He already bought parts for it, lol. We have too many projects going on.

PICS PICS PICS

look, no engine!

we painted the headers aluminum and are in the process of polishing the intake manifold (not the one on this engine, it's not polished.) and polishing the valve covers, too. They're Edelbrock Classic finned aluminum valve covers. oh I got my hot pink spark plug wires last week, too, and a bunch of other goodies.

Glad to see you are making progress on the LUV!! 8)

I had a 64 Nova quite a few years ago (OK about 11 or 12 years ago 8O ), but anyway, they are great cars!!
Hope he has fun with it.

Steve

well we got the engine out this weekend, and that's about it. Stupid guy at Dreamer's gave me the wrong crossmember, so we couldn't do anything else today. :(

I am wondering about headers. I know millions of of people have asked this,....but oh well.

I have block hugger headers right now, and I am wondering what everyone else is using and what your best reccomendation is (for relatively inexpensive) Does anyone have any for sale?

I am looking for specific advice of what ones I should get, because I noticed in Summit some say they won't work for s-10 swaps and similar things. I don't want to get the wrong thing, I'd rather just get something that is tried and true.

Thanks
