I was a volunteer at the state fairgrounds this weekend for the Autofest. Saturday has a show for 1972 and earlier, and Sunday has a show for 1973 up to present. I found out that the Sunday show in November, Best in Show was taken by an early 80's Celica!!
Most of you have read about my wreck that pretty much totaled my 79 longbed Tuesday before Thanksgiving. I've got another longbed located, and I'm gonna be working hard in March and April to get that one going with the engine and tranny out of my wreck. After that, it's getting an Electric-blue paint job and the chrome engine treatment! It's also getting the chrome rims with white letter tires! By this November, I'm gonna have a real nice truck to compete for a trophy in the later model class!! I'll keep y'all posted and get some pics posted while my truck goes back together.
