I thought it was just an illusion. That air filter looks like it sits 3/4 of its height above the hood level from some angles.

I can only imagine what is next for your truck, tho I imagine the stocker rearend can't be under there for too much longer.

:lol: thanks! We made the motor mounts.. my motor is mounted further up the some of the ones ive seen cause we didnt want to cut into the firewall for the hei to fit... but there homemade..

yeah i looked at the pics again and it does look likw its high.. i got 1980 doors in the attic waiting to be shaved and put on... i think thatll be next cause i already have everything to do that... just needa find more time. hopefully the rear will last at least till summer cause if it breaks ill be walkin.

Well its done.. me and dad took it out.. itll roast the tires pretty good 8O runs MUCH better with the tpi. Next thing on the list will be a rebuild kit for the 305.. and my cam is going in when the rebuild happens, thinkin of puttin vortec heads on it and some other goodies.. plus a rear end upgrade :lol:

got a couple new pics of the truck.. decided to not run the bed cover for right now, wanted a change in looks lol.. now the truck sits higher in the rear.. o well i can deal with it.. Now i wanna halfway sand the inside of bed and primer it.
