Alright everyone, after having my Luv for 4 years now and working on it off and on for the first year, and then the last year, and not touching it in the 2 in the middle, I have come to a crossroads that will ultimately decide the future of the little truck.

I found a 69 Nova that is in Primo shape for a very cheap price. If you saw a while back that I posted my desire to find one in the classifieds section, you will see that I have been looking for one for quite some time.

So, if my funds come through in the next couple days, I will be buying the Nova and finally giving up the LUV for good. I know most of you will say to finish the Luv, there are enough Novas, but this car is my dream.

The car has no motor and tranny, which is fine since I built my 350 for the Luv and have yet to even get the motor mounts welded in completely. The car has a PERFECT body, no rust, no dents, a very little bit of bondo on a dent on the front fender, but it not cracked, still very smooth and looks natural. The glass is all good. The only thing wrong with the interior is a few rips in the seat. It has headers, with dual 2.5" turbo mufflers. It has a Outlaw style ratchet shifter and a nice tach.

The guy is asking about $800 for it. the only thing this car needs is some really nice wheels and paint.

So, I will be leaving the site more than likely, or at least cutting my time in half.

Unfortunately, this may eliminate my ability to do the Truck of the Month contest. If someone wants to take over, I will send you the plans I had for it and hand it over to you.

Thanks for all the support that I have recieved while doing my truck, and all the help and info you have given me.

Good luck with the trucks, I will build another one someday....

If that Nova is as nice as you say, get some wheels and paint, fix the upholstery, turn it for a quick profit and have yourself enough money to really do your Luv right. :D Just kidding it's rare to find that kind of a deal, so go for it. By the way what are you going to do with your truck?

Go for your dream dude. I know if I found a deal like that on a 71 cuda my little luv would be history. Even though I luv it I'd have to go with my dream car. Nice find by the way, and like was said befare don't be a stranger.

iceman...... Go for the dream.... I would put my truck in the back of the garage if I could get my hands on a '68 Chevelle... But always remember, while your chasing your dream, that lil LUV may be the dream of some kid out there  ..... In all honesty, if I could find my dream car, I'd give up my dream boat which I am in the process of building (sorry chev hadda go with the ford this time)
