Hi all it's been a long time since I have been around here again, but I really think that I need to warn everyone of the fraudulent practices of some of the companies listed under the user links. This company is known as Parts Components International and will rip you off if you attempt to buy from them. they have several other names and webistes that they go by and I would suggest that you avoid them at all costs because they will take your money and you will not have an easy time getting it back.

I am in the process of trying to get money that they charged me in the amount of $216.35, for a LUV truck tailgate which they had advertised as $87 dollars pluss shipping. I find it insane to charge twice the price for shipping in the first place but the worst part is that they don't ever ship the part and they havve not yet refunded me as I have been asking for since the begining of August 2003.

I have a link here to the Better Business Bureau information on this company, please take my warning serisously, maybe this should be a sticky somewhere to that everyone can always see this and not buy from this company, but anyway here is the website:

http://www.labbb.org/scripts/cgiip.exe/ ... &hAddrID=1

Again, DO NOT attempt to order anything from this company as they will rip you off and you will need to sue them to get your money back.

Thank You,

Zach

Oh also if you have been ripped off by this company please leave a message here too, maybe we can get a class action going against them so that others are not taken advantage of.

I will pull their link immediately. Sorry for the trouble.

Did you use a credit card to buy the tailgate? Most credit card companies will go to bat for you in these situations.

BTW, there are in LA. That's within driving distance. Maybe it's time to form a lynch mob?

Yeah, these guys took me for a ride for $102. I even opened a report to the BBB. They (the company) never responded to the complaint. If wish I lived near LA I would take them B#!$@! to the small claims court.

Steer away from these guys like they were the plague.

I used a debit card from my bank and they are currently going to bat for me. If all else fails my dad works at GM and I can always get GM legal to take it to court for me, kinda wanna see the look on their faces if they push me to that  , which will happen for sure if the bank can't get it back. Just figured I should warn others of thier ways though.

I was a victim too! What recourse can we take? I also contacted the BBB. No luck.

To all that have been ripped doff by this company, please email your name, address and phone numbers to me. I am going to contact the District Attorney of Los Angeles county. I highly recommend that all of you file compliats with the Federal Trade Commission and State Attouney Generals office of California, and any othe consumer protection agency you know of.

I just went to the site and the BBB has it blocked and is looking for people that have been ripped off.

wow.. luckily there shipping was to high.. i was looking for fenders and a front bumper for my truck and found http://www.myautobodyparts.com and they had them for a decent price imo and then they called with a shipping price of 154 bux and all the parts was 134 so i said no thanks and didnt buy anything from them. Then i came on here today and seen this thread. looks like they got a new website.
