i'm still yet to own a luv. i've come incredibly close a couple of times, but i just have a '79 toyota 4x4 and no money for mods

next project of mine is gonna be a luv. straight axles, 5 speed transmission, and some kind of engine to spin the wheels

Why a luv? Wanted a truck that wasnt around very much anymore. Great lines, good looking, begging for a V8. Mines 29 years old, and I have a piece of Chevy history. To me Chevy is the only manufacturer, the best. If it came from Japan means little to me. Chevy Ok'd the design, and put there name plate on it, so that's good enough for me. Please, dont anyone take it personal if you like another brand, I am not putting them down. I dont have a lot of money, so I thought a small luv truck with a V8; now that could be fast and nice on a small budget.
