yeah there are pics but you'll have to go to street source to snag any. A few members here have bagged and body dropped rides but not many at all. Most here have the v8 conversions done or are 4x4's.

you got plans to bag a luv or just lookin for some pics?

well if i go ahead and get this luv. give me about a 2 months and ill have it throwin sparks. (but i still have to get the truck first) ill keep ya posted on that.

I found a 78-80 luv mikado. I talked to the guys son and he says he thinks his dad wants $200 for it. I guess it runs, just not very well. So i went and looked at it. it is white, body is good shape for a luv. the rockers are rotten though (shrugs). and it has cloth interior. It is an automatic w/ A/C.

but i did a photoshop of a white luv that i got from the gallery here. This is what i wanna do with it, Once i get this done, im gonna use it for a daily driver so i can build my s10 the way i want.

Yeah, well the screen name is the same I have gone by SunDown since 2000 when I was on .org...then the big pissing match happened and most of us left to s-seriesforum.com....then once again something happened and s10forum was formed....so yeah, I have been around all three for a few years now.

I had an indigo blue x of the april 00 vintage on a 2-3 drop...got rid of it this past may for a 03 Mazda 6 v6 5 spd.... but I bought a 84 Isuzu Pup - same as a 81 Chevy luv to bag and body drop. The truck is in the garage right now all stripped. I bought my welder today so the bagging will comence very soon - along with a NASTY bd......

biggest problem I have heard of so far is that the lower control arm is designed such a way that it bottoms out on the frame before the frame will lay...so bagged fronts dont completely lay out in the front.....


anyway, keep us updated on the purchase and project if it works out.

wow that matte balck luv is sweet looking, it almost looks like the motor is mounted higher so i dosnt drag the oil pan :lol:

it essentially is, it is body dropped so the body of the truck moves down, the driveline and engine stay in the factory location. On top of that the truck appears to be bagged or juiced so probably does come close to laying the oil pan.....only a guess..
