What yr luvs will fit a 1980 4x4? Mainly thinking of bumper, fenders, and beds. Also has anyone tried bushwacker cut out flarse or any kind of fender flars b/c mwere cut by the original owner and looks kinda tacky. Also how much more power does a header add?
Thanks Derrik

i would say run whith the flares. I know a bunch of guys whith em on full sized trucks and they hold up alright. As far as the header is concerend, definetly. I did this last christamss on mine and it was like a whole new motor, very worth while. And the fenders and bumpers and such, im perty shure that all body parts from 72-80 should interchange, except the grille and healight stuff from the 72-77s (they were dual headlight).

Front bumper and valance (sheet metal behind the bumper) is different on 75 and older, and the 74 and older have different tail lights and tailgate setup. The front fenders on the 75 and older rigs might have some slight difference where they hook to the valance, but I think they'd still work. Other than that, parts should swap right across to an 80. If you want wing windows, 77 and older doors have them, 78 and newer do not. Stick with the 78 and newer for doors if you don't want the wings, the window parts might swap since the outer sheet metal is the same, but it would not be worth the effort.
