...I traded it for a Trooper this afternoon. With the truck gone, you guys don't mind if I still hang around every now and again do you. I mean, I only sold it because I had too...

Later...

You can hang around as much as you want but you cant start sobbing and crying because you dont have your truck anymore. The only response you'll get from us is to go get your truck back or buy another one. But it isnt totally bad. You own a Trooper now. It's kinda like a Luv. You're like a second cousin once removed on your step sisters, 2nd husbands side of the family. Around here, thats close enough. Hell, you might come up with replacement components that will fit the Luv like door seals and such. I just wonder what you'll end up doing to the Trooper. Some sort of "Urban APC"? Hmm...I wonder.....

...another one.

Maybe we should start another web site for former LUV owners? You and Derek can be the founding members. :)

Former LUV owner support group. Hilarious. :)

BTW, just kidding with ya Kuranosuke. I think we've all considered selling our LUV at one point or another.

What Ben says is true. Just over a year ago i had all but given my truck away to a buddy of mine who's oldest son was getting near driving age. As bad off as the truck was, it would have made a good project for them to build up. He wanted the truck and i was getting ready to tow it 100 miles to him but he didn't have a place to park it. It took more money to get it to him than i would have wanted to spend. I was pumping money into a truck that i was trying to give away! So after a little more work to fix this, and a little more work to fix that, the truck was comming to life and the next thing i knew was there was no way i was going to give it up.
If my friend Mike would have had a place to park it and he would have come to pick up the truck himself, it would have been a totaly different story. I would have found the Luvtruck site too late and i would be kicking myself in the A$$ every day for the rest of my life!!!!!!
