The people my age remember the LUV trucks when I talk with them about our father/son project.

It cracks me up when I go to an auto parts store and ask for a specific part for a '78 Chevy Luv...
They're response is usually "...for a what???"! Image

I am going to have to do something about a shop. When ever I sell my old house (built in 1893 8O ) I will have some money then. It will stay on the trailer for a little while. I got stuck, not bad, when getting the trailer at my moms place. Big Bro used the tractor to pull the truck and trailer out. I can't take the trailer back till it dries out. I got 1 1/2 inches in town, moms got 2 1/2 inches.

I will have to get the camera out of the wife's car and take a few pictures of it on the trailer.
The trailer with Luv on it, is on the street in front of my house, so I don't know what the neighbors will think. 8O

Thanks.

I call the paint UT orange. University of Texas. Not quite like the Luv Truck Red, which it was.

I get some mean looks when I have driven it at Texas A and M University, where my wife works. UT and TAMU are arch rivals on the Thanksgiving day football game, which is not on Thanksgiving day now. A&M is maroon and white colors. I may have to paint it Aggie maroon and white one of these days.

I wish it would stop raining. I need to take the trailer to the farm, but it is way too wet. I got stuck hooking up to it. Luckily my brother used Paw's old tractor and pull me out. The lady complained to her neighbor. the city council guy, he said it was illegal without it hooked up to something. I hooked my truck up to it... It is licensed, inspected, and is insured. Opps. She called my brother. about this. We were outside on Saturday and Sunday working it the front of the house. She should have walked across the street and talked to us.

There are two trucks parked down the street all the time. Some friends. Their Pest control trailer is parked in front of the garage. They have parked beside their house and a SUV. Newer cars. Nothing ragged, they drive all of then sometime. The city council ass hole complained that they did not have their pest control license number on the side, so they had them put on the side of the two trucks that they use.

She said I should have parked it on the other street that runs by my house(every house I have owned has been on the corner. A guy I went to school has parked his gooseneck trailer on that street, buy his dads house. It even did not have his truck hooked to it.

Should I wait till she comes and asks me if I would move it, or move it on my own?

lol, that lady's worried about her property values dropping... Do you own the property? If you're a renter, move it now, if you own it, move it when she asks nicely.

(Story, everyone can skip it if they like)
We were being nice a month or so ago and trimmed all the trees on our street, just to be nice, and one of the neighbors called us and complained that we had a bunch of brush piled up against her fence... We told her that we were gonna burn it, and then she flipped out on us, yelling and screaming about how were gonna burn her fence down. lol, we had drug all the brush from the rest of the street down into our yard and burned it, but she thought we were gonna burn that particular pile where it was. So, since it was the brush that we'd cleaned out from in front of her house, we threw it onto her side of the fence... hehe, she didn't know it was hers.

(Revenge...)
Hehe, if you don't mind building a wire cage for your garbage, start putting out opened cans of cat food out at night (away from your house)... sure fire way to bring in raccoons and other critters... do that for a couple o' weeks, and then stop... the critters will go after everyone's garbage, and since yours would be in a wire cage, your yard will be the only clean one on the block. hehe... payback's a dish best served cold.

(Response)
How could anyone complain about having a trailer with a purdy little LUV on it next door?

Your a bad man

I own it.. I have never rented a house. I was lucky, we bought our first house 6mth after we were married. All of our houses have been on a corner. I moved it on the side street, no house entrances on it. It is almost a alley but it is a real street. My shop will have it's entrance there one day.

I have rented apartments and a few houses with friends.

I have put up a few Christmas decorations, too wet to put up most of them, no one else has.... Cheap SOB's
