when I get it together it should go some 10.50s/10.60s with the pulleys moved around I should get it in the nines easy..............

i run 11.95 on the motor i haven`t bolted the bottle on it yet. i have to get a cage first then i can put it on along with the alky carb, combine that with some deeper gears i should be in the 10s to low 11s

well i bought slicks and put the alky carb on my truck.dropped my times from 11.95 to 11.63 on the first pass. i got warned by the officals again to get a cage so i had to back out the rest of the night. so i didn`t get to adjust on it much.i ordered a cage from s&w i should beable to make full passes in a couple of weeks.

Hey Racelife, 3 tenths is pretty good, I'm sure it's got more in it. Let me know when you get that cage kit from S&W. I have one in my other drag truck and I was pretty happy with it. Are you getting an 8 or 10 pt?

i`m going with a 8 point, its good until 10.0 as long as your fire wall isn`t modified. besides i didn`t have the extra cash either since i have to have updated belts too. my 5 point is out of date. it was still like 101 deg out when i made my first pass so between some cooler temps and doing some jetting i`ll get it down more yet.i ordered the cage friday mourning i don`t know how long it will take to get it. there in pennsalvania i`m in phoenix so i figure about 6days since it has to be shipped by truck. i`m gonna pick up some lexan today from home depot for the back window.by the way s&w is having a sale on there cages if anyone else is looking 40.00 off don`t know how long it lasts though. later

man when i installed my roll cage tired every way not to cut above rear window but had to to weld the cage better looking et what kind of 60 ft did you have and mph hour Take care from South La

1.62 60ft and 115 mph still running a 2.80 gear ratio out back with 29 inch tall slicks. i wish i could afford some better gears so i could actually use 3rd gear. it would probably drop my 60 ft times even further and et. later

1.62 short times are good!!! especially with that "freeway" gear. was about a 11.80ish pass no?
