Hello.

I just got myself a 78 LUV for $200 bucks.

Ive been wanting a LUV for about the last 2 or 3 years.

Back in 91 my dad bought me a 74 LUV for my first vehicle when I was about 17. It was an awesome truck, the baddest LUV around for miles. White with blue pearl paint, polished aluminum mags, tinted windows, gatornet tailgate, and dumped to the floor.
The engine was rebuilt with a ported and polished head, the intake was honed and polished. If my memory serves me right the guy who had it before me had a weber or some sort of different carb on it. It also had a custom homemade header on it. I never lost a race(hondas, hardbody's, couriers, etc)even with the fourbanger in it. It peeled thru first, fishtailed in second and chirped third. I sold the truck in 93, and have never stopped regretting it.
Im hoping to accomplish the same again.
