I don't know how many here know but I have been having problems with my SS for 2 years now. After replacing the EGR 3 times and the fuel injection once, I was still having problems with it. Well I got off my lazy butt today and pulled the EGR valve off again (major pain on this motor) to see if maybe it was messed up. Well to my surprise after cleaing out the ton of carbon that built up over the years when I was replacing the fuel injection, the EGR was stuck open because of 2 large carbon chunks in it that I somehow missed in one of the ports!!! Put her back together and it runs like a champ!!! I am pretty happy right now!!! Tomorrow will be the final test to see if she will be giving me any more problems!! Just had to share with someone as I figured I would end up having to take it to a dealer and spending some major $$$$$!

I love when it turns out to be something simple!!
