It looks like I'm trading a buddy my 80 LUV for a 67 Bug this weekend.
It was his father in law's when brand new. His wife got it from her dad when she was 16 ( in the 80's) and she sold it about 5 1/2 years ago. 6 months ago she bought it back from the guy she had sold it to, but now they want a truck for their son to drive.
If this goes through this weekend, I'll post pics of the Bug. It's very clean and has always been in the LA area, so it has no rust anywhere.
I drove it today and it runs great. Has a fresh, stock 1600 in it.
I told by buddy about this site so maybe him or his son will join after they become LUV owners.
His older brother was the owner of the V8 LUV I rode in and was in love with back in high school in the 80's.
And you can't ban me because I still have two LUVs.
