i was driving from my g/f's house this morning and i hit this long straight away so i was going about 50 in the luv and all of the sudden i started hearing knock but my steering was fine so i thought i can make it home. out of know where there was a big noise and i look to my side and i see my tire rooling along side of me. i had to have skid about 100 ft before i came to a stop. when i stopped i got out and went looking for my tire i found it about 200 yds away and in a marshy area. i lug it back to the road and set it down then go to asses the damage i start looking and the bolts that hold the lower ball joint together are just about ground off so i start jacking it up to see if i can get home just a few miles away and i figure i can so i get my tire on and head home so know i have to replace the lower ball joint.

Damn, that sucks man. I don't know what I would do if I saw my tire rolling along by itself beside me. I guess I would just be like, "Well, shit!" I hope you get the rig back up and on the road soon. I'm glad it wasn't worse (you're ok right)...
