 Post subject: oregon plates ?

my plates will be due soon and wanted to change them to personal plates and was wondering which one i should try to get, they will be vintage 79 oregon plates, orange and black
ctmandu or luvtrkn

Is Oregon offering personalized plates in their older color schemes? That's kind of cool.

I think I would lean toward ctmandu. That way if you decide to ever get out of luv trucks (I know that's blasphemy) you can move the plate to your new vehicle and it'll still make sense.

true, yes i can get them in the old colors but its and extra $100... but i want the vintage look

Ouch! I hope that's a one time fee instead of yearly. In WA we have to pay something like $35 extra a year on top of the initial fee for personalized plates. And to top it off, the state requires you to get a new plate every 7 years because they say the reflective material wears off. I'll have to get my new plate in September so I'm wondering if they'll still try to stiff me for the "initial plate" cost again. Being the goverment I'm betting they do. :evil:
