hey there y'all, its been a while. So I just got a new LUV and am going through the process of giving it a paint job and thought I'd share my progress. This is my second time owning a chevy luv, my first one was a 1979 2wd long-bed that I had for about 8 years. I gave the 79' a paint job as well, it was my first time and I made plenty of mistakes and learned a hell of a lot but it turned out decent. I painted tge 79 the factory original yellow and called her butterstick. So on this job I'm doing much more of a thorough job than with butterstick who I really only painted what one could see with the doors shut, lol. On this one I am not doing the engine bay or taking it off the frame but everything else is getting sanded to bare metal, epoxy primed, bondo, basecoat, clearcoat. Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
