Finally, after many years there is an update.

I had u-bolt made as I could not purchase any my size to have fit. Cost was about $30 for all four.

As time goes on, more and more old parts need refurbishment. The drive shaft needed fixing before the whole truck gets shafted.

Quick and easy to the local prop-shaft specialist, and $100 later, I have a nice shiny shaft!

As time progress, new things come to mind to increase the Chevy's daily drive-ability.

Next on the line was an electronic ignition, and also combined with this another coil which has low resistance.

The installation is quite easy (comparable to pertronix), but do read the instructions. If you leave the negative wire on the coil, you will blow the new electronic ignition, and the warranty is void.








Next on the line, servicing the carb, AGAIN. Why do we like Weber's so much?
