also what S-10 model will swap out to my 73' i want to have disc in the rear too and a more freeway friendly drive

i have a v6 with a 700r4

I can't remember the name, but a member here got a kit and had a build thread on this board about it a few years back, that is the only one I can remember. ANd they haven't posted in a while, so not sure if they got it going. And using a standard width s10 rear with a stepside gets iffy. Looks like you have the bigger fenders on the rear, (they made 3 styles), so you might have enough room with the proper back space. I have the smaller rear fenders on my street LUV, and the s10 rear didn't work with 8 inch wheels, couldn't get the proper back space. I had Quick Performance make me a 9 inch rear that was the right length...
