I'm starting this topic to document and share progress on my luv restoration. I'm open to suggestions, stories, and experiences. To kick it off in have some photos of the body work in progress. Paint is coming soon.

Getting the motor ready to go in. Any advice on the best anchor points for lifting the motor would be much appreciated. I'm considering using the 4 valve cover studs, is this a bad idea? Thanks

Is that an aftermarket valve cover? It doesn't say Isuzu on it and it looks taller than original.

Yea...its cast aluminum from somewhere in Australia...Parts availability is way better for these motors over there because of the Isuzu Gemini scene... My understanding is that this valve cover is made to provide clearance for taller rockers...which I dont have...i just liked it better than stock. Does anyone think this additional volume in the valve cover would cause any issues? oil circulation etc..?? Thanks

That color with those wheels! It looks great!

Were you able to get the motor in? She up and running now?
