Hey all so to to this forum but not forums in general. I have been building a Chevy avalanche the last 3 years was my first car my parent split with me and I have bought all the parts and done all the labor since learning as I go. So now it's gotten to the point where it isn't feasible to drive as a DD. In reaserch came across a pair of Chevy lives for sale one is a 79 that I would fix up as the DD and use the other as parts. For now I want to make it run with stock stuff. But I will be taki the 5.3 out of the avalanche and would like to put it in the luv as a sleeper. And eventually probably a pre runner. So I will be buying these on Friday and have some questions about LS swap I want a manual transmission that goes to a small block Chevy that will handle 400hp. Also has any LS swapped trucks kept 4wd? Thanks for all the help in advance! I'll post pics when I get em!
