Hey everyone,

Bought this luv brand new about 3 years ago and have working on it since. Got the stock g180 running and drove it until the head gasket blew about a year after that. Here's where things got crazy, I purchased an sr from a buddy for $900 and also a 240sx rolling shell.

Over the next two years working on it off and on, she is now ifs/irs swapped with an SR20 from Japan(I think) with a T28. I'm assuming it's pushing around 350hp, that's on 20psi. I have yet to have it dyno'd.

The front with the old ka24(before the sr20) and a mockup tube core support

The rear ended with the independent rear subframe bolted up, and strut towers made.

All finished up with a cover and fresh bed liner.

Front end with the sr now in and all the tube work complete.

Top is the most current design of the core support with intercooler, bottom was old mock up

All together and running, all stock.

And that's about it, she's a runner. Took this pic after installing the new T28,550cc injectors and having it tuned. Oh, and a new 6 puck sprung clutch. (Yes the hood does have hinges, just have them off to do some minor touch up work)

Yes nice work! Good to see a different type of engine swap in a Luv. I miss the spool up of a healthy turbo 4 cylinder. Wish I still had my Evo 8.

Did you do the bed liner yourself or have it done professionally? Cause it looks damn good.

Thanks all. The bed liner I did myself, followed the lines of the bed and masked it off. I found the bed liner at oreillys to be the best, it comes in a blue can.

It's a drift toy. That was mainly the reason I used all 240sx suspension/drivetrain. I can get them for you here shortly. Just gotta get them off my phone.

Thats awesome. I figured as the 240 is pretty much the golden standard of drift cars.
And no worries im not worried about it i just want to see how you nade all that woek together. I was going to put a rx7 rear end in mine but i was worried the 4.3 would break it before long

So far the rear end has been pretty good! It's welded, if I open the rear slider I think I can start to hear it whine, so eventually it's gonna be time for an lsd.

I'm from around the puyallup area, so if your ever down here just let me know and you can check it out. Plan on going to evergreen for the open drifts during September as well!

Awesome, I am in lake stevens close enough to Evergreen speedway. I definitely want to check out this beast of yours. I am planning a 4cyl swap but a 4g63 some time next year, but you have more way extensive work then I am planning but great looking truck and work.
