I need a lot of help on my 1980 chevy luv , I got this luv truck as a gift from my dad a few days ago and I want to do so much to it but not sure we're to start or were to get part for this as he told me it would be hard to find. I want to start off by dropping it down a few inches from the back and front.

Well, lowering it is pretty straightforward. Blocks in the rear and crank the torsion bar adjusters down for the front. If you want to retain some ride quality, you can reindex the torsion bars. viewtopic.php?p=117200#p117200

Be sure to get an alignment done after you've done this as it will change your camber.

reindexing the bars is a myth. you still have the same exact amount of tension and force on the t-bar. but yes crank down the font and block the rear

I was going to reindex my torsion bars after reading many positive results on this forum. I lowered my front end about 2 inches, it looks good but the ride is harsh. Was hoping that reindexing the torsion bars would help out wth the ride quality.

Do it let us know if it helps. Seemed to help quite a few people out in the thread I linked.
