Well, this will be the first of many posts here on the forum with this build. It's my 80 model luv truck bone stock minus the drop. Solid 1.8 that will get a few upgrades as I'm building he swap. Overall it's a solid truck minus the Swiss cheese floor boards and a few minor rust patches. The plan is to go with the 5.3 vortec swap, poweglide trans, 9" rear end and the essentials to stop quickly at high speeds. Looking forward to having your input as you follow this journey with me.

Well, after pulling out the interior today and seeing what was under the floor covering the floor pans are in a lot worse shape than I remembered. Apparently someone got a little happy and spread bondo across the entire floorboard. Now the project is going to take a hard left turn as I separate the cab from the frame and start building her back up from the bare frame. Should be fun...
