Pull the gauge and make sure the wires are not shorted on the front side around the winding area .

Well I did that test, I show 11.8 volts across the 2 points indicated, and 128 ohms resistance across those 2 points. So it's close, probably not indicating that the voltage regulator has died on me. I still can't figure out why it was working before and then quit. Meanwhile other things I had working like the blinkers and 4 way flashers have stopped working. The electrical gremlins in this truck are driving me nuts!

Can somebody give me advice on door hinges? My top drivers side door hinge has a ton of slop in it, does anybody sell replacements?

What's the thoughts on an 81 front bumper on a 76? I found an 81 bumper in pretty good shape but it looks basically straight where the original one had some indention formed into it to match the grill, etc.

Front valance. That is the early style with the thin front bumper.

I was thinking of going this route with my wheels and tires, 6 lug 15 inch rims off a late model Colorado. But when I go to mount them to the truck, they are too wide and touch the grease fitting of the upper control arm.

I was looking at these to move it out 1 inch - they also come in 1.5 inch and 2 inch thicknesses which is more than I think I would need.

I need to replace the rocker panels underneath the doors, does anyone have a suggestion for a vehicle that is common enough that panels are made, that would be close enough to match up fairly well?
