Exhaust manifolds came with 350 that was taken out of '79 GMC PU.
Re-ringed with new bearings. Want to keep costs at minimum.

Problem on right side is ebrake mechanism. Might relocate...

Should be able to get exhaust pipe on it

Other option would be headers, but cost is high

Nice truck. If those manifolds give you problems pipewise, look for a set that have the manifold above the plug wires. Something like a late 80's Impala. Only issue with those is the passenger side uses the optional third hole you see on the stock style gaskets, but they usually seal if your heads don't have the correct mounting hole...

Finally my son & I are back on the project.

Welded the motor mounts, installed exhaust manifolds (came with sbc 350 out of '79 GMC pu) and exhaust pipes.
Modify the e-brake bracket to work around the exhaust manifold.
Also installed the short water pump with single groove pulley along with a single groove crank pulley.

My son is going to put his new bucket seats in the Luv that he bought for his '72 Jeep Renegade SBC 350/TH350.
He decided they didn't fit the Jeep quite right so he bought Corbeau seats that fit better. We mocked them up...
Going to work out just fine.

Now the radiator... Bought Speedway 19"x22"x3" Mfr. Part # 917347-22
Trying to figure out best way to install radiator. How much of the core support to cut out. How to make mounts, etc.

Installed distributor, plugs & wires, Edelbrock carburetor, alternator & bracket, etc.
Replaced the corroded rusted out gas tank.
Temporary radiator mounted & hooked up.
Fired up the engine. After all of the project years it sounds good... Like a beast.
Only have 2.5 ft of 2" exhaust of off the manifolds.
Maybe need to install mufflers... Maybe not.

Now for a driveline & radiator mounted properly (still figuring that out).
Also an auto shifter/console would be nice (hotrod80 is on that task).
Then a test drive would be possible...
