This is my 1980 Luv that I'm in the process of restoring. This is my first project like this so I would appreciate some help and advice. So far I got it lowered 3 inches, some sanding and body filling done and fiberglass front bumper partly made. I'm shaving all side lights and removing the big mirrors. Some questions I have are how far to sand it down, and what is a good paint gun I have a cheap Tool Force sprayer that I used to paint a trailer but I dont know if it's good enough for this. I'm panning to uses Restoration shop single stage acrilic enamale paint. So check out the pictures and let me know if I'm doing anything right or wrong :)

I finally made it a little more progress. I am test fitting the 2.2 diesel!! Turbo clearance may be an issue.

Tonight i got the engine and transmission in the turbo is hitting the brake booster so I'll have change something to make it work. Hopefully I'll be abe to get it to clear and the put a turbo blanket on. I'll try to post some pictures soon.

Can't wait to see your progress. I want a turbo for mine... someday.
