Looks like its coming along nicely!

This picture doesnt look like we did much but there was a lot of work in between the pictures. I welded the cage to the frame and bolted the cab to the frame.

I Fitted and welded in the door bars.

I fitted and welded in the front bars and trimmed the motor plate a bit.

A little bit more done. Trimmed motor plate out and welded in mounts. Engine is now bolted in.

S&W sent a nice anti roll. Getting it fitted.

Installed! It should help the truck handle better at the track.

Test fitting the engine. Man I hope I have enough power to pull my boat.

Holy Crap! How are you going to keep the front wheels on the ground?

Back to work. Getting started on the bed. This is going to be a project. Set it on the frame to see what needs to be done.

Cut the floor out.

Building a new frame for the bed floor.

The wheelwell openings are now in the wrong place as well.

Welded in some new metal.

And cut out the new wheel well.

LUV them step sides...

Well finally got to do a little more work on the truck. I have been working on the bed. Built the wheel wells and started fitting the fenders.

I have some wheels and tires laying around so I checked to see how they fit. Not too shabby...

Truck is looking good. That things gonna be a handful. lol. Cant wait to see the finished product.

Man summer is bear when you are a a/c man. But looky what I found. 2014 5.3 It is missing the turbos.

If anyone is interested I am probably going to sell the Ls engine. I feel it is to nice to waste by putting in the truck and putting turbos on it. 2014 l83 with the 6 speed auto. Low mileage, 380 hp on e85, really nice setup.
