I hate this curse... my spendy fuel pump I just bought, yep you guessed it, It's dead. This one had a 90 Day warranty, and I am on day 88. New one will be here Wednesday. Not putting it in until the fuel cell and bigger hose/filters go in with it

Been while since I've updated this, not much of an update though. Luv has been chillin in the garage since the last fuel pump went out. I have a new pump and the fuel cell is halfway mounted. Need to get some aluminum line and some AN fittings and I'll be set. Been dumping all the $ into the motorcycle and my 93 3000gt vr4 and the luv hasn't got much love lately, but that'll soon change :)

Been awhile, been building my vr4 so not much has changed. Luv has gotten a new paint job, threw on a Holley aluminum intake. Ive been trying to find a rust free cab to swap over but havent had much luck. I'll try and put up some pics sometime

Been awhile guys, small update on the luv. Its been almost 2 years with the v8 and it's time to fix/change some things I should've done then. First is the radiator, going to build mounts for it so it doesn't move around. Fix the leaky valve cover, intake and Timing cover gaskets. front wheel bearings, pressure wash the gunk/rusty frame and clean & paint that. Shocks are garbage truck bottoms out when hitting brakes or going over bumps. Basically a tune up, fixing some stuff I should've done and battling rust. Also got a new billet aluminum alternator bracket, and a few other parts. Also, Here's a pic of what's been stealing me from the luv. Traded it the other day for a nissan frontier, but do have intentions of buying it back. Went from a 98 fronty, to a 92 stealth r/t, to this 93 vr4 and back to a 98 frontier lol

Been awhile guys, figured I'd update this thread. I've been in school working towards my commercial pilot rating so I've had pretty much no time to work on this, but somehow I've managed to find a rust free cab and swap it over and fix some things here and there. I also have coilovers for the front and rear along with some new wheels and tires but those won't go on until fall as I'm moving to hawaii for the summer. I'll try and get some pictures up asap

Congrats on working on your commercial ticket. IFR is the hardest and it's all down hill from there until the ATP.

been a minute since this was updated. figured id post a before and after. luv is sitting outside waiting for me to rebuild the carb. been doing small things to it here and there. it has a new fuel system with a 20-gallon fuel cell in the bed and all new lines, wheels and tires, some goodies from Lokar and some other small bs. id like to do a 5-speed swap as id probably drive it more but who knows. college eats up all my time

Progress update, 4 years later for whoever is still around lol

I just finished swapping in a Prius electric power steering unit (definitely worth it btw) and figured id update this. Besides the epas and since the last post, the luv has gotten a fully rebuilt front end (steering, suspension, sway bars, brake lines, control arm bushings etc), new carb, entire cab covered in sound deadening, and a brand new, napa repop front bumper that was still in original packaging. I've been gathering up parts to swap a g180 back in, but with efi & turbo. So far I've got a g180 with an msg 5 speed trans mated to it, header flange from Australia to build the turbo manifold, a seized g200 for any extra parts and a td05 16g turbo. Planning on a plazmaman intake with megasquirt, but who knows. I also have a vg33er setup, and the VW tdi is tempting as well. It'll stay sbc till I make up my mind.
Besides that, I've been working on doing a carbon fiber layup of factory fenders and will be continuing to the bedsides depending on how initial runs turn out.

Also swapped over to one of my quad headlight grilles. Can never decide which one I like more
