So after months of me deciding where I want to go with my 79 Chevy Luv, I've finally decided.
I want to drop it low.

So far the torsion bars are cranked all the way down, and in the rear it has 3in lowering blocks.

Here is 2 pictures of it.

I WANT IT A LITTLE LOWER.

If you want it lower in the rear you can pull out a leaf spring. On the front is your rubber snubbers cut down? If not start cutting them down.

I've thought about removing a leaf spring, I most likely will.
I haven't really thought about cutting the rubber snubbers, right now it's sitting on top of them.

How hard is it to cut them?

Here is a quick update, I painted inside the cab white.
The color way i'm planning for is White and Black.

You get a hack saw and cut the rubber down.

My snubbers fell right off from being dry rotted--wack them with a hammer once and see what happens

Before buying tires make sure the offset will work on your truck. Try mounting them on your truck and try to see if the tires will clear the suspension and fender.

I might have to do some fender rolling.
I wonder how well that will work with the step side bed sides?

Since they are fiberglass it would involve trimming. Determining back space and offset is something that needs to be done before buying rims and tires.

Can you turn the front wheels lock to lock? I had a set of 15x10's on the front and mine they rubbed.

I don't rub what so ever, I have the wheels stretched so that might make a difference.

Here is an update, I changed the front brake lines and put in seats.
I forgot to take a picture with both seats in.

With a truck that low you might want to add a bit more padding in those seats.

Hahah, yea I came up with an idea.
I'm just trying to get ahold of some memory foam for it to happen.

And sorry for not to many updates, just got finished moving recently.
Caused everything to slow down.

Everytime I look at your truck it reminds me of my first 76 I bought in 1980. If it had International Harvester tail lights I would think it was the same truck. Mine was last seen in Yakima Washington in the late 90's and was made into a drag truck.

This is before the visor was put on mine
