to do list for my luv

sas toyota front end 4.11 gears and swap
rear end with a Toyota rear end with 4.11 gears

add 8" re arched Skyjacker leaf springs all the way around

mount smittybuilt tube bumpers on it

fix rust rust holes

ryno line floor and bed

swap bench seat out with bucket seats

build center console
make diamond plate door panles

wire up a cd player

paint it sublime lime green pearl and white pearl 2 tone paint job with ghost flames and some air brush work

looks like she has seen a few coats of paint in past lives 8O
great place to start a good wheeling rig from, where is the majority of your rust? only area i have a problem with it is right behind the wheel wells in the bed, and where my old battery leaked in my engine compartment

on the bed in front of the bed very front of the hood ,and some small holes in fenders and lots of bondo cracking all over so im gonna strip all the filler out and fix whats under neath of it i hate when people use filler over rust holes

hood scoop of my old jeep cherokee origanly off a s10 now going on the luv

got a carpet kit that turns in to a nice comfy bed built out of red carpet ply wood and memory foam between the carpet and plywood might recover in black carpet and i got a set of Geo metro seats really comfy and in nice shape some day i get some nice raceing seats and and exo skeleton rollcage it out to protect it also got a perfect fit alumimin canopy for free it came off of a 84 2wd extra cab ford ranger short box

my race mowers will look good on a trailer behind the luv when i go to mower races
pics of the mowers the race mowers are painted with grabber green engine enamel and are build to the hilt and go 60mph all of them have tether kill switches and lowered to 4" of the ground

yes its a old oil container and the tube is brass Im going to swap it out with a aluminum over flow tank

It will still be street legal just need get some small mirrors on my half doors and they will be legal they make a big difference when im in the luv plus make a perfect arm rest and it feels way less claustrophobic :D being 6'2" and having such a small cab. that is a roof spoiler not sure if it is after market for a luv or if some buddy took it of a car and put it on I never seen one on a luv before

never seen one either :lol: cant think of anyone whomakes one specific for the luv, probably a universal one
and yeah my moms ex was 6'3 and he looked hilarious in my truck..could have used a tilt steering wheel and another foot of leg room :lol:

tilt wheel wold be nice i got a jeep Cherokee steering colam laying around tought about trying see if i could get it to work in the luv just for the tilt

Im getting a aftermarket steering wheel with quick release should do the trick just kind of hard to swing my legs under the wheel and make a little more room between me and the wheel:)
