Here is some more.

Working on the cold side now

After trying to figure out how to route the piping to the intercooling in the bed, we tried to keep some leg room.

Image

But opted for the simpler look running the piping through the center of the floorboard, and the passenger will have warm feet instead of warm thighs.

Here is the intercooler being mounted in the bed.

Starting to get close to completing the turbo kit. I am amazed at how its turning out.

I don't think so. I am hoping to have it running but won't have the bugs worked out by then. I also still have to put the finishing touches on the Blazer and do some testing so that will take precedence over the Luv for this race.

Here's a photo from today.

Not the airport this year. Heard it was on concrete this year. He won't give the location up till Thursday or Friday before the race to keep people from testing there.

How are you controlling your 4l60e? That is a electronic transmission controlled by the ECM. Are you manually shifting it through all the gears? ECM also control's the torque convertor lockup

Grandmaster of the "Shade Tree" way.. I can't see the yard for all the cars. Come on down and we will sit on the porch and watch the grass grow.

I had a Rossler black box controlling the transmission. It made it a full manual but allowed me to lock the converter up till with a button. I am now controlling it with the Holley EFI system.

She's running. Still breaking everything in on a base tune but just on the Wastegate spring (5lbs) it feels good. I turned the C02 bottle on just to see what kind of boost it will make and it pegged my 3bar MAP sensor out. Once I get it lined out it should run decent.

well yes, the yellow handle is E-85 but I am on 93. My fuel system isn't going to be enough for E-85 so I am on 93 until I add another pump and bigger injectors. Highest I have seen the duty cycle so far is 54% but haven't really made any hits longer than one gear.

I figured with Garrett involved it wouldnt be long before pump E85 was in the tank . And once you make the switch you'll never look back . That Holley dash is awesome.

If you're ever bored in the 'Fe swing by the shop. We are always out there tinkering with something.
