Had a little motivation today and a little extra cash, so worked on the truck for a bit.
Bought some satin green rattle can paint and through it on the valance to see if it's the color I'm looking for. Turns out I think it needs to be a shade, maybe two brighter and a bit more flat/less glossy. Still pretty close though.

Put the fender and hood back on a few weeks ago, just never got around to posting it up.

Also noticed the the master cylinder was leaking so pulled it out. Might try and rebuild it. The Brake booster was looking a little under the weather as well so pulled is also. Going to through some paint on them before I re-install them though. Might look at getting them powder coated if it's not to much money.

Fresh paint on the master cylinder. I think it came out looking pretty good.

nice work. I installed a rotary in my 1966 datsun pickup back in 1980 . I also converted it to a 4x4. I wish I still had it. That was the most fun truck. If anyone rides dirt bikes the rotary is like a 2 stroke motor . amazing amounts of power for the cubes. A 1966 datsun had a 1200cc motor and a very small engine compartment. It was a perfect fit, no cutting involved. Do a you tube search on 1600hp rotary

if you think about it a rotary is more like 1/3 of a stroke since all 3 sides of the rotor fire every rotation right? takes high rpm to make it powerful but man do they sound sweet at 8000rpm drifting..

plus you got the turbo engine so the power possibilities are enormous.. bigger injectors and more boost  only thing i dont like about them is the cost to rebuild one your looking at 1000+ for a full rebuild but totally worth it

future aspiration for every rotary owner...

man i cant wait to see this thing put together!
there will be a ton of room left under the hood even with the turbos
are you keeping it sequential twin turbo or converting it to a bigger single later one down the line

Didn't think it was going to come with the motor mounts,... but it did. Which means one less item I'm going to have to track down.

That shifter is awful far back. I had toyed with the idea of pulling the lt1 and 6 speed out of my firebird and putting it in my luv, but abandoned that idea when I saw how far back the shifter would be. Hope you can make it work.
